You are invited to a special evening for the Brown community in conversation with 
Jim Tilton, Dean of Financial Aid


Join Dean Tilton as he shares an update on our progress toward fulfilling the Brown Promise. 


Launched in the fall of 2018, The Brown Promise removes loans from all undergraduate financial aid packages awarded by the University and replaces them with scholarships. Students with demonstrated need admitted to Brown could come to College Hill and potentially leave with little or no debt.


  • Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served. 
  • Reception at 5:00, Presentation begins at 6:00 followed by Q&A
  • Space is limited. Early RSVP is highly encouraged.
  • Walk-in attendance is not permitted.
