2017 has been a year of challenge and change at Brown, in
the U.S. and in the world. In this context, Brown Club OC has hosted a record
number of what we trust were exciting, relevant, fun and informative events for
our members and supporters.

(Treasurer), Hassan Albakri (Outdoor and
Athletic events co-chair), Victoria Wu ’15 (Young Alumni chair, Outdoor and
Athletic Events co-chair), Karen Shapiro ’80 (Member-at-large) and Scott
Westerfield (President).
My heartfelt thanks for their support and tireless efforts go to all my fellow
