Brown Club presents: The Emotional Manipulation of Our Political Identity

How do political leaders manipulate our emotions?
How do politicians use group identity to incite fear and outrage?

Brown University Professor Rose McDermott will explore these topics
in a fascinating and timely  discussion.

A renowned author on political psychology, emotion and decision making, and the impact of biology on political behavior, Professor McDermott teaches International Relations at Brown.

Join Brown Club Orange County to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Open Curriculum with an exciting discussion drawn from divergent fields of study including political science, psychology and biological anthropology.
