annual Democracy in America
lecture series as it welcomes Professor Aaron Belkin of San Francisco State
University discussing:
“How We Won: Progressive Lessons from the Repeal of Don’t
Ask, Don’t Tell.”
Don’t miss this fascinating discussion
of how the unconventional tactics of Belkin’s Michael Palm Center helped to reverse
discrimination in the military - and how these tactics challenge conventional
progressive wisdom about how to effect social change.
The event will be held at 75 Shady
Canyon Drive, Irvine 92693 and complimentary refreshments will be served. The
location is in the beautiful, gated community of Shady Canyon and advance
registration is required for admittance.
